Cold buckwheat soba noodles, shrimp and zucchini tempura with a sweet soy tempura dipping sauce Inspired by my trip to Kyoto Japan, here...
Start from the beginning
Growing up my inspiration to cook came from my family. My parents and sister opened a restaurant creating delicious Laotian and east Asian cuisine. Seeing my family cook sparked a passion within myself, to pursue this path. Unfortunately, they were tired of the business and I was not prepared to take over at that time. So the restaurant was closed and within a few years, I craved the atmosphere and energy of the restaurant again. I was ready to get seriously trained for this industry.
I moved to Toronto, Ontario Canada to attend the George Brown Culinary Arts school which I graduated with Honors.
Having worked with many great chefs and have added a great range of flavors to my palate. Combined with my love of being a traveling foodie, it has culminated in this page and I hope you enjoy my journey to opening my own restaurant
I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start Kunha's Kitchen.
Since the launch of this project, the blog has been growing quickly. To see what I’ve been up too, browse my site, learn about my passions, and explore what excites and interests you as well.
